Dwarfed Life

Few days back I was reading a newspaper and in the middle page I saw an article bruiting that a student from IIT Bombay tried to commit suicide enunciating the fact as he was performing low in one of his subjects!

The article for a moment took me aback! Just low grades in exams forced the chap to take up a serious step! (I guess I should given him my example ;) )
Neways, nowdays news paper has been flooding with the news of committing suicide by people of all ages Some are fed up from the monotonicity in life, some are troubled by the falling of market, while some are so much distressed from the prevailing problems that they decided to chop off their king sized life line!
Recent financial crisis has also added fuel to this deadly activity!
Before writing this topic I was discussing something from one of my friend and he quoted an example in front of me : "Once when he was in 10th n whole family was waiting for his result which was due any moment and then they heard an ambulance on the street and suddenly he said "looks like result is out"
We ourself have made our life an "easy piece of value"!
The courage of facing problems has been loosing in people.

Even our Indian army and airforce are not away from this "ending life crisis"!
In a calculated suicide rate of suicides per lakh, air force has 16 suicides and Army heads Navy by 11!
For a force having approximately 1.2 lakhs personnel this rate is highly alarming!

Increase in suicidal rates show that we people have been so much busy in making money and have been moving so fast in their life that they keep ignoring small day today problems which often in turn take ferocious face of depression and loneliness. Later they see that the only solution to their problem is to end their life!
Often great expectation from small children in a fast and competitive world leads to a great deal of pressure which in turn decrease their performance instead of an incrementation.

But in this age of globalization and rapid economic growth, people's aspiration to grow themselves in disproportionate terms in case of salary and in case of their social status (not only among elders but also among students.... the rapid growing competition among them )this is a challenge that is here to stay.
